Here is a brief guide to creating sigils that you can use in your spellwork.

* Write down the specifics in long-hand
* Write it out again with only the first initials of each word
* Create a sigil with those initials
The secrets of real magick lie in understanding your subconscious mind. This is the part of you that has access to the power that exists everywhere in creation. One of the magickal keys to the subconscious is in the use of symbols. Any valid symbol will act as a doorway between you and your subconscious mind.
Sigils are images that subconsciously represent your desire. The point of using sigils is to create an image (a symbol) that represents your magickal intention. The image is made in such a way that your conscious mind will not make an immediate connection between it and the object of your desire. A sigil allows the conscious desire to enter the subconscious mind; once a sigil has been made and cast, it should then be forgotten, so that the subconscious can get to work on your desire.
Creating Sigils
First, you must decide on your intention. Think about your purpose, and decide carefully how to word your sigil spell. Get a clear, well thought-out intention in your mind.
Next, write out your intention in capital letters as one simple statement.
Then write only the first letter of each word of your statement.
Now, experiment with the letters, writing one on top of the other until you arrive at the sigil. This will be a shape that contains within itself all of the first letters of your original statement. This will require some time, but once you get it the way you like it, write it on a clean piece of paper (parchment or plain white paper).
Last, charge your sigil with energy, visualizing your magickal intent. When you are done, burn the paper with the sigil on it, and try to forget about it. Let your subconscious mind do the rest.
